Future Living Skills was last offered locally as a practical two day course in September 2018 at HAPAI building, Upper Hutt. Facilitated by Natalie Hormann, a Sustainable Living Education Trust educator, it covered food, zero waste, water energy saving, sustainable transport, green shopping choices and community resilience.   Enquiries/requests to Kylie about hosting future courses or to register interest you could email askus@uhcc.govt.nz.

Natalie says: "Future Living Skills is a comprehensive practical course to help you make your lifestyle greener, cheaper and healthier! Come along to our workshop sessions, including how to make healthier food choices, grow your own food, make your own cleaning and skin care products and reduce your power bills - all without spending extra time or money!  The course was held in two full day practical sessions, which are engaging, fun and suitable for anyone with a green heart".
